Join us for our next PPSCV Photo Safari of 2021
This trip is a
self-guided hike to the Point Lobos State Natural Reserve ..
Self-guided means that you are responsible for yourself, though we expect to hike as a happy group.
Be prepared by reviewing the map and routes on the
Point Lobos Natural Reserve.
Paper maps are typically available at the visitor center just before the trailhead.
If you join us come prepared with:
* Good boots/socks,
* Snacks and a picnic lunch,
* Plenty of water (2 Litres or more).
* Sunhat and sunscreen - the afternoons can be bright sunshine and hot.
* Bring wide angle lenses for the beautiful landscape,
* A Long lens for close-ups of the birds
* A tripod/gimbal for stabilized photographing of the birds, seals, etc.
* Binoculars or a spotting scope
* Comfortable backpack for camera and gear

July 28th 9:00AM through 4PM
Parking lots get full during the summer after 9am.
Bad weather may cancel this event - you must register to be notified.

Please cancel your registration if you cannot make it.
Where: We will meet at the Whalers Cove in Point Lobos

Cost: There is no charge to members for this event.
You may need to pay the State Park entrance fee.
Bring your State Parks Pass if you have one.
How: Please register so we know to expect you.
