In this workshop participants will gain a clear understanding of visual planning, lighting control, subject direction, and editing, combining creativity with strong technical skills as well as practice with 4 different lighting scenarios.
Olha will first introduce light modifiers and light-shaping tools.
Mood boards will be used to build a clear visual direction. Tethered shooting is introduced as an important part of a professional workflow, along with the programs that make the process organized and efficient on set.
Special attention is given to how to make people feel confident in front of the camera and to pose them in a natural and flattering way, so their expressions and body language look effortless and authentic.
Participants then work through a series of hands-on lighting setups. These include Beauty Photography, creative lighting with gels and optical spot for strong visual effects, harsh light in fashion photography for bold and dramatic images, and soft light for elegant, refined results. Each technique is explained and immediately practiced through shooting.
The final session covers editing and refining images to a final polished look using professional post-production techniques.
PPSCV will provide coffee and pastries upon arrival and will offer sandwiches for lunch. If you have any dietary restrictions or concerns we recommend you bring your own lunch.
