Join us for our next Image Competition Category and Rules review
One pillar of the PPSCV mission statement is to provide Image Competition to help members improve their work and prepare for professional certifications such as the PPA CPP and Master's degrees.
We want to keep our rules current regarding tools and trends, and to balance the submission and award categories with the content submitted by our members.
The PPSCV Image Competition committee will be reviewing the rules for 2024 and request input from our members.
Please make a brief post on the PPSCV Facebook Member's Lounge discussion post here as a Title for any specific topics you feel should be considered.
Members can Reply to each topic with their thoughts to create a thread for that topic.
Please carefully read our Image Competition: Rules before you comment.
Do not make multiple threads on the same topic.
The Image Competition committee will hold an online meeting for discussion with an agenda based on these topics. Image Competition participants are strongly encouraged to attend.

Timing:
Topics for discussion is open through November until the review meeting.
The review meeting(s) will be held in December
Proposed changes will be submitted to the board before the end of December
Voting will be at the January board meeting
Rules will go into effect starting with the 2024 Q1 Image comp
Where: We will be hosting the competition online in a Zoom meeting
Your registration confirmation email will include the Zoom link.
Who: PPSCV members and competitors are welcome to provide input

Print Competition is now called PPSCV Image Competition, and accepts digital images rather than prints, saving time, expense, and making it easier to participate.
It's a great opportunity to get feedback and useful critique from professional photographers and trained judges.
Why participate in PPSCV Image Competition?
One of the PPSCV member benefits is being able to participate in image competitions similar to those provided annually at the PPA Photo Competitions, but at our local affiliate level.
