About this event

The Amazing Galapagos Islands

PPSCV Member Presentation by Mark Butler

Join me for an exciting photographic adventure sailing to seven of the Galapagos islands by expedition ship and zodiac.

The Galapagos Islands are on many people's bucket lists for good reason. The nature is amazing. Its uniqueness inspired Darwin's theories of natural selection. For photographers, this is a target rich environment. A small group of volcanic islands straddles the equator and hosts a variety of animals that have adapted and thrived in an unusual and harsh environment.
This Northern Islands tour includes Santa Cruz, Santiago, Rabida, Bartolome and Genovesa Islands.

Founded Mark Butler Photography after a long career in High Tech, focusing on event photography, family portraits and teaching. Have taught photography and given international travel presentations at Sunnyvale Community Center. Have done event photography for the Red Cross for the past 6 years.
